#21 Blogmas - Favourite Christmas Picture/Poem

Hey there!

It's definitely been a long while since I've posted content for my Blogmas series - shame on me! I've just been so busy, rushing around trying to get myself organised for Christmas - last minute shopping sprees, late night christmas marathons and tying the last ribbons on my christmas gifts! I'm always in a pickle the last week before Christmas, so apologies for the lack of blog posts!

Nevertheless, despite my manic rush to try and get things ready in time for Christmas Day, I look forward to this festive event every year. Not even the cold, bitter evenings or the winter bugs that spread during December can ruin my excitement for Christmas. I've even bought myself a little treat this year - Christmas Yankee candles of course!

#21 Blogmas - Favourite Christmas Tune

Ever since I was a young girl, I've always been a huge fan of poetry. I just loved the art of writing it and admired those who's talent I had the pleasure of reading. However, nothing really springs to mind when I picture my favourite Christmas image or poem. Therefore, I decided to choose a famous festive tune instead - Jingle Bells!

Unless you've been living under a rock, I'm sure you're all familiar with this festive little tune at Christmas! Growing up, I would listen to this song continuously on repeat for hours - always a song that puts me in the festive spirit. Hanging proudly from my Christmas tree are a pair of shiny, jingle bells, reminding me of the magic that Christmas has to bring!

#14 Blogmas - Favourite Childhood Christmas Memory

Hey there!

It's safe to say I've fallen extremely far behind with my Blogmas posts this year! Despite the cold weather, I decided to brave the shops to hunt down my Christmas gifts - a task I should have completed way before December. Somehow, I seem to get so caught up in the Christmas spirit, dancing away to festive songs and spending my evenings watching back-to-back festive films, that I completely forget about my Christmas shopping. This weekend was a challenge, but I can officially say I am well and truly ready for the Christmas Day!

Alongside weaving my way in-between the hustle and bustle of busy shoppers making their last minute trips out before Christmas, despite the bad weather, I've been busy writing Christmas cards, making trips to see old friends and spending some quality time with my family - hence the lack of blog posts.

#14 Blogmas - Favourite Childhood Christmas Memory

Ever since I can remember, Christmas has always been my favourite holiday - plenty of excuses to express my inner child! Growing up, my family and I have always made a huge effort at Christmas to keep the magic alive. There was always some nibbles and a glass of milk left on the table the night before Christmas and an array of tinsel hanging all around the house.

As a child, the countdown to Christmas was always magical - every year I'd make a special trip to Father Christmas, cherishing every minute I had with him! The week before Christmas was always my favourite - I'd sit eagerly waiting at my window, ensuring I was in earshot of the Christmas float, before dashing out to greet Father Christmas at the door. I can assure you I was never disappointed!

If you liked my first day of Blogmas, I would recommend you challenge yourself to this festive tag - it would be nice to read some of your posts!

#11 Blogmas - How Are You Counting Down to Christmas?

Hey there!

Bet you weren't expecting this one, I've decided to change the theme of my blog post yet again. Christmas is edging closer and closer - only 9 more working days to go. It's incredible how it's soon creeping up on us and I'm still yet to sort out my Christmas presents - shame on me!

The decorations are up with festive songs playing on repeat and the fluffy jumpers are out. Frothy hot chocolates and over-sized fluffy dressing gowns are becoming my essentials this December. I love the buzzing atmosphere and jolly people at Christmas, which makes commuting to and from work very enjoyable!

#11 Blogmas - How Are You Counting Down to Christmas?

Everybody loves an advent calendar for Christmas, no matter what age you are! Christmas just isn't the same without one - I've made sure it stands proudly on top of my fire place this year. The countdown to Christmas is definitely what makes December most enjoyable. I love coming home from work knowing that I have yet one more door to open and we're one step closer to Christmas.

This year I purchased a Mars Bar advent calendar - nothing special, but definitely worth the price I paid for it, so yummy! It's always fun to hunt for the next number and I love guessing what Christmas treats are hidden behind the closed doors. I'm literally the biggest kid at Christmas - I simply can't wait for Christmas!

#10 Blogmas - Christmas Jumper

Hey there!

There seems to be a reoccurring theme of food with Blogmas this year. There's no denying that we all love to stuff ourselves with our favourite festive treats at Christmas, so I guess it's not surprising. However, I decided to mix things up a bit and chose to share my favourite new purchase this winter!

Everyone deserves a little festive fun at Christmas to celebrate the end of a good year! With Christmas Jumper day soon approaching us, my family decided to hit the stores in search of the best Christmas outfit. Last year I bought myself a pair of cosy reindeer leggings to lounge around in at Christmas, which I practically live in all winter - they're just so cosy!

#10 - Christmas Jumper

For those of you who follow me closely on my little slice of the Internet, you'll know that I am a big fan of Primark - so much so, that I jumped at the chance to work for them. It's just so exciting to watch the festive stock appear in store - it's so tempting to buy the entire shop! Therefore, it wasn't surprising when I found myself surrounded in a sea of Primark bags - safe to say my bank balance wasn't happy!

Among my many new purchases lies my Christmas jumper - I just couldn't bare to leave this little fella on the shelf, especially after this year's heartfelt John Lewis Christmas advert. I was in desperate need of a new Christmas outfit and this jumper is absolutely perfect - I fell in love with it immediately. It's super soft and just so adorable - I simply couldn't resist it and I guess it just fell into my bag, oops!

It's not too late to get yourself a Christmas jumper to join in with the festive celebrations. I would definitely recommend this jumper and at just £12 you can't go wrong!

#9 Blogmas - Winter Items I Can't Live Without

Hey there!

It's starting to get colder and winter is slowly settling in. Slower than expected, but it's definitely made a strong appearance - even the winter bugs are starting to do their work! That's still no excuse to be miserable in this festive season.

We all have those particular essentials that complete our Winter evenings when the weather turns bitter and the grass is glazed with frost. I always try to organise myself for these cold months with a stock of my favourite bubble bath products and fill my wardrobe with a whole rack of knitted jumpers and wooly tights. I am determined to fight off the cold this Winter and power my way through the nasty bugs - I will not let it ruin my Christmas!

#9 - Winter Items I Can't Live Without

Here are my favourite items that I just can't live without at Winter:

1) Fluffy Dressing Gown

There's nothing better than to snuggle on a cold, winter's evening wrapped up warm in your favourite fluffy, dressing gown - I practically live in mine! Let's not forget to style it out with a pair of matching fluffy, socks too.

2) Frothy Hot Chocolate

I always like to treat myself after a long day at work with a huge mug of hot chocolate to warm my tummy. You can't go wrong with a trip to Starbucks for an extra special mug, topped with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles - doesn't that sound yummy!

3) LUSH Baths

I've never been a huge fan of baths, despite my obsession with LUSH, I'd much prefer a quick dip in the shower! There's just something about this time of year that makes baths seem exciting. I love a warm, bubble bath to relax me on a cold, winter's evening after a hard day at work - especially with my favourite LUSH products!

4) Candles

Every blogger loves a good candle - no matter what time of the year! I have a whole stock of them stashed away in a pretty, little box. You can't go wrong with Yankee candles and it still amazes how incredible they smell! I plan to purchase their new selection of their Winter collection this Christmas as a little treat - I just can't help myself!

5) Festive Novel

Every evening, I love to pick up my favourite book to settle myself down before I sleep. Christmas novels are always a nice way to get you in the festive mood - full of romance and cheer! I love reading with my favourite candles burning away, wrapped up warm in my reindeer onesie - told you I was prepared!

#8 Blogmas - Christmas Wishlist

Hey there!

Christmas is definitely fast approaching us - my advent calendar is going down a treat! I've been extremely busy this weekend so haven't had a chance to post, (hence the missing date!)

As a child, I used to sit endlessly circling the Argos catalogue to start my Christmas wishlist, but as the years progressed, this slowly phased out. I've never really wanted anything in particular for Christmas, I'm easily pleased, but after reading through a number of Christmas wishlists, it inspired me to make my very own!

1) Marc Jacobs Perfume - Daisy Dream

At the top of my list is the gorgeous scented fragrance. I've read countless reviews on this stunning perfume and have been loving this scent for a while - everything a girl dreams of! It's just so flowery and perfect for a glamorous evening - even the bottle is absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to show this off to my friends and family - no doubt they'd be jealous!

2) Girl Online

For those of you that have been keeping up with my blog content, you will know that I absolutely idolise Zoe Sugg. I feel she's perfect for young girls to aspire to and it's incredible how far she's come, despite the little hiccups in her life! She's become an Internet sensation in the YouTube community and has a lot to be proud of. Therefore, it isn't surprising that 'Girl Online' is a close second on my wishlist. I think it would look perfect among my most-loved books!

3) Yankee Candle Winter Classic

Being a blogger leads to a full grown conclusion that we all love candles! Who can resist this wonderful set of gorgeous Christmas scented candles? I find it incredible how awesome these scents really are and picture how amazing that would be burning away in my bedroom on a cold, winter's evening. Definitely one of my favourites on my Christmas list - a girl can never have too many candles!

4) Body Shop Frosted Cranberry Hand Cream

During the winter months, I never seem to be able to avoid getting dry skin from the bitter, cold wind. I've always been a fan of the Body Shop and find myself spending hours browsing through their products, smelling the gorgeous fragrances. After scrolling through my favourite bloggers, I found this beauty and couldn't resist putting in on my wishlist. I've never been disappointed with any of their products, so I have high expectations for this one!

5) Christmas Pudding LUSH Bath Bomb

For those that follow my blog religiously, you will know that I have a huge obsession with LUSH. I've been to a number of blogging events and own a whole range of their products. My baths have never been the same without LUSH and I've never been disappointed yet! LUSH's christmas themed bath bombs never fail to get me in the festive mood. The Christmas pudding bath bomb at LUSH is my favourite go-to bath treat at Christmas, so it's not surprising that it features on my wishlist!

#6 Blogmas - When Do You Open Presents

Hey there!

Christmas Day has always been hugely celebrated in my family with Christmas traditions and festive films, trips to the church singing our most-loved hymns and stocking ourselves up with plenty of Christmas treats! Such a pleasant time of year to visit the whole family, sharing festive snacks and gifts together, despite the cold weather!

Living with a younger brother gives me a great excuse to embrace the child in me! We all make an effort to keep the magic alive - leaving an offering of milk, biscuits and a carrot on Christmas Eve. Finishing the evening with a Christmas film, hot chocolate, eagerly counting down the hours until CHRISTMAS - my favourite part!

#6 - When Do You Open Presents

Usually on Christmas morning, I am sprung upon by my brother at an unearthly hour, to wish me a merry Christmas - believe it or not, I actually enjoy being woken up like this! I love seeing the excitement on my brother's face, as he lunges onto me. We cautiously tip-toe downstairs, dragging our stockings behind us, trying our best not to wake Mum and Dad up.

Before opening our gifts, we always light our Christingles from the church service and place them on our window sill, to add an extra glow to the room! We all gather around the Christmas tree and take a family photo in our Christmas jumpers - a tradition I will never forget. A tub of Roses is passed around to munch on and then the fun begins! Everyone plunges straight into their sacks, head first to retrieve their presents. 2 hours later and we're stuffed full of chocolate, surrounded by endless piles of wrapping paper and ribbons!

#5 Blogmas - Favourite Christmas Food

Hey there!

Back again with yet another festive post - I know, I'm just as shocked as you are! I've been so productive recently and I'm really enjoying Blogmas this year. It's always fun to read my favourite bloggers winter posts too - really puts me in the festive mood!

No one likes to admit it, but there's no denying that festive food is one of the main reasons we all love Christmas! Diets and fitness workouts are soon forgotten once the M&S adverts appear on our screens, showing yummy treats that make your mouth water. You just simply can't resist those cheeky, festive treats - it's just not possible! Coming home from a frosty walk home to a frothy, hot chocolate and Christmas cookies. Walking around the Christmas markets with cups of mulled wine, nibbling on sweet, gingerbread men. No Christmas is complete without a huge tub of Roses to munch on, after stuffing yourself with a huge Christmas roast!

#5 - My Favourite Christmas Food

Christmas has always been very different in my house when it comes to my favourite family roast. Most supermarkets at this time are brimming with customers on their mad rush at Tesco's to buy the best freshly, cooked turkey - not me! Most people pile endless meats and hams on their dinner plates, but being a vegetarian Christmas dinner is very different for me. I was never fussed about pigs in blankets and never was a fan of those small frankfurter sausages.

My favourite Christmas food that just makes my mouth water are roast parsnips - strange I know! I just love the texture of the crispy skin combined with the light, fluffy inside. You can't miss out the seasoning - it's a must, I mean, doesn't that look yummy!

Let's not get carried away with the Christmas dinner, you can't forget about all the other treats that appear at Christmas! Candy canes are my all-time favourite sweet - always hung proudly upon my Christmas tree. I always love receiving candy canes at Christmas - I just love the fresh, peppermint flavour, so I always make sure I send them to my friends in their cards as a sweet treat. Gingerbread men are always fun to decorate on a cold, winter's night. I love to make these with my younger brother - spending quality time, wrapped up warm and toasty, feeling festive!

#4 Blogmas - Favourite Christmas Tunes

Hey there!

Ever stopped to realise what the world would be life if music never existed? Pretty damn boring - that's what! Christmas is never the same without those cheesy festive tunes that everyone loves. Shops everywhere are playing those well-known Christmas hits to pleasure the busy shoppers and I can't help, but dance along when gift hunting! Who can blame me when they're just so damn catchy?!

#4 My Favourite Christmas Tunes

Christmas tunes never fail to put me in the festive mood - I'm just so easily pleased! Music is what I live for, I have a playlist for absolutely everything ranging from the shower to brisk walks. Despite this, I am lacking in a festive playlist and I really struggled to narrow my top 5 down - I just love everything twinkly at Christmas!

Here are my top 5 most played Christmas tunes:

1) All I Want for Christmas is You

Judge me all you want, but I think tune is a hit - infact, I've been singing it all year! Mariah Carey has such a stunning voice and I can't help, but belt this song out in the shower. There's not a year that passes by when I'm not playing this beauty!

2) Santa Tell Me

A new appearance in the list is Ariana Grande's Christmas tune - such a catchy, little jingle! I couldn't stop myself from dancing to Ariana's gorgeous voice and the video is just incredible. If you haven't heard it already, I recommend you give it a good listen - you won't be disappointed!

3) Fairytale of New York

You can't have a Christmas playlist without the famous Pouges. Christmas just wouldn't be the same without it - infact, I'm almost certain it's my most played song! Such a classic tune that never fails to excite me for this festive season...

4) Merry Christmas Everyone

As a kid, this used to be my absolutely favourite tune at Christmas and to this day, it still is - I obviously had good taste. I can't help, but skip round my house singing this every day leading up to Christmas - sounds bizarre, but I love it!

5) Away in a Manger

Sounds strange to put a hymn into a Christmas playlist, but sometimes it's nice to reflect on the origin of Christmas, even if you're not a believer! As mentioned in my first ever Blogmas post, I like to attend Christingle church services with my family and it brings me warmth whenever I sing this delicate song!

#3 Blogmas - Favourite Christmas Films

Hey there!

After a hard day at work, there's nothing better than to run a warm, bubble bath, froth up a hot chocolate and snuggle on the sofa watching festive films with the family - the perfect way to welcome December, especially on a brisk, winter's night!

I've always been a huge fan of Christmas - in-fact, I absolutely love it! It's never too early to get wrapped up in the excitement to Christmas and the build-up to Christmas is always exciting with the Coca Cola and John Lewis adverts appearing on our screens. You know it's Christmas when the festive films are broadcasted everywhere! From Christmas classics that leave you in tears to those romantic love scenes under the mistletoe that make your hearts melt and those ones that have you in stitches - I love them all!

#3 My Favourite Christmas Films

Here are my Top 5 most-loved Christmas films:

1) Elf

No Christmas film list is complete without Elf! This modern day movie always has me in stitches, no matter how many times I watch it - all hail Will Ferrel, he's absolutely brilliant!

2) The Muppet's Christmas Carol

Christmas isn't the same without a trip down memory lane with a Muppet's Christmas Carol - the most-watched and fantasy-comedy film at Christmas! This jolly, heart-warming classic never fails t to put me in the festive mood. I can't help, but sing along to all the Christmas tunes

3) Arthur

It's not surprising that this film's appeared in my Top 5 - I love a good animated movie! Answering those all important questions for children at Christmas time and bringing back the magic to those who lost that spark growing up!

4) Nativity

Who doesn't love a film for all the family at Christmas? I was hooked by the trailers immediately, it wasn't surprising that I headed straight for the cinema. You'll instantly fall in love with the kids - I know I did! This film definitely puts a twist on the famous Bible story and will definitely give you the giggles!

5) The Grinch Who Stole Christmas

As a young girl, I was an avid bookworm and spent my childhood with my head in a book - no matter what time of day! Dr Seuss was a huge favourite of mine and this rendition of the Grinch is a classic film to watch at Christmas! Cyndey Lou reminds me of how innocent and naive I used to be and Jim Carey plays the Grinch to perfection. I can't ever fault this film!

#2 Blogmas - What Christmas Means to Me

Hey there!

Christmas is soon approaching us and the festive lights are slowly illuminating the streets, decorating the rooftops with Christmas cheer! People constantly bustling around the shops, armed with bags - the atmosphere buzzing with excitement! As a non-believer, I have very different opinions  about the meaning of Christmas compared to those with religious commitments. However, I respect their views and embrace their celebrations during this joyous occasion!

#2 What Christmas Means To Me

Read on to discover my ideas of what Christmas means to me:

amily

As mentioned in my previous post, I've always surrounded myself with family and close friends at Christmas. I treasure these moments dearly, as everyone gathers round together to share this festive celebration! Being a busy teenager with a heavy-load at work and a huge social life, I rarely have any spare time to share with my parents. Therefore, Christmas is the perfect time to spend quality time with your loved ones, embracing their company!

Food

No time to worry about food babies or growing a slight tummy over Christmas. How can you resist a steamy roast dinner on a day like this? My mum is the queen of the kitchen - hurrying around, knee deep in saucepans, preparing our delicious roast. Trust me, she cooks to perfection! It's almost impossible to watch a Christmas film without a tub of Roses resting on your lap. No stocking is complete without a candy cane hanging out the top  and you can't forget to decorate the Christmas tree with an endless supply of chocolate treats!

Giving

I love to spoil my family with an array of presents. There's no better feeling than to watch your loved ones slowly untie the ribbon and tear the wrapping paper open to reveal your gift - it's a warm glow I'll never forget!

#1 Blogmas - Favourite Christmas Tradition

Hey there!

I can't believe it's the 1st December already - how time flies! The countdown to Christmas begins, starting with a treat from my advent calendar. Still lacking on the Christmas presents, but that's no surprise - it happens every year! Last week, I challenged myself to Blogmas and today marks the beginning of a very busy, jolly month...

#1 My Favourite Christmas Tradition

For me, Christmas has always been about spending quality time with the family, singing carols until our hearts content and munching away on yummy treats without a care in the until you're about to explode. I, especially love the extra efforts that everybody makes to maintain the festive spirit, despite the fact the magic has vanished!

Growing up, I spent my Sunday mornings at the local children's club at my church - learning about the Bible stories and following Christianity. As a perk during the festive season, we celebrated Christmas with a Nativity play. I loved to show off and make my parents proud, so this was all very exciting! Every year I volunteered to play the part of Gabrielle - dressed from head to toe in a white bed sheet. I still remember the butterflies I had backstage before the performance, but I will never forget how important I felt to carry that gold star confidently through the congregation - embracing the attention!

Despite the fact I've grown too old to take part in this, my family still visit the local church to participate in the Christingle service and sing those typical festive hymns. I cherish these moments dearly, as we join hands and gaze at the dazzling Christmas tree. My favourite part of the service that always sparks my excitement at Christmas is when the lights are dimmed, the candles are lit and 'Silent Night' echoes throughout the church. What a great way to start Christmas!

What's your family tradition at Christmas?

10 Things That Have Made Me Happy This Week!

Hey there!

It's that time of year again - time to prepare New Year's resolutions, time to unpack the decorations from huge, dusty boxes from the attic, time to stuff yourself with naughty treats! Less than a month away from Christmas, can you believe it?! Time really does fly and it's safe to say I'm excited, much to my boyfriend's annoyance! Only 2 more days until Advent and then the fun really begins. Of course, I am still painfully behind with my Christmas shopping, but I seem to have become so wrapped up in my own bundle of joy, I haven't even considered it yet!

It's taken all this excitement for me to realise that in the past few weeks I've felt blissfully happy! You would have thought judging by the weather that I would be drowning in my sorrows, but for once I feel like a kid in a sweet shop!

1. Spending the evening with my boyfriend, discussing future plans for the next couple of months.

2. Devoting a fair bit of my time to updating my blog with new content.

3. Snuggling with warm cocoa in the evening after a long soak in the bath.

4. Coming home from work with dinner already waiting on the table.

5. Counting down the days on my calendar until the Christmas holidays.

6. Knowing that we're only a few weekends away from decorating the house.

7. Jumping into bed after a hard day at work with my reindeer onesie on,

8. Wrapping myself up warm in my fluffy Christmas themed jumpers.

9. Watching everybody frantically buying gifts for their family.

10. The fresh smell of gingerbread in the streets.

I hope you're all just as excited as me for Christmas and not too behind with the gifts. Stay tuned for more Christmas-y themed posts, there's plenty more to come!

My Journey Through Blogging

Hey there!

On rainy afternoons, during the cold winter months, I love to spend time scrolling through my blog, reading and cringing at some of my very first posts, watching how my writing has progressed after starting my little slice of the Internet.

Blogging was something I had always been inspired to do. From a young age, writing and reading were my favourite hobbies and there was never a moment where my head wasn't sunk into a good novel. Growing up, my lifelong career was to be an author - just as successful as JK Rowling and Jacqueline Wilson. My mind was constantly filled with new and exciting ideas, which would flow out onto the pages of my beloved notebooks. As the years went by, I had a collection of short stories, which I was almost certain would get published. However, these ideas were soon abandoned and the idea of blogging seemed alien to me. Nevertheless, it was a hurdle I was determined to cross and after some encouragement from my friends, I attempted to draft my first ever blog post - and here I am today!

Before I started my little slice of the Internet, I was a shy, timid young teen - lacking immensely in self-esteem and rarely had the confidence to even express my opinion. I never had many close friends I could rely on and had nowhere to display my feelings without being judged - but let's not allow this to become too deep! Blogging has had many benefits for me and I definitely do not regret allowing this to become my hobby. I've made many close blogging friends through a number of platforms including Twitter and emails and value them immensely!

One thing I have learnt from my blogging experience is that it's extremely easy to get carried away when sharing a rant or expressing an opinion. It's seriously important that you refrain yourself from doing this, as you don't want to offend your readers.

I never expected to see my blog grow this much, but as I've blossomed as a writer, the views have increased. I truly am proud of my efforts to continue with this and appreciate the time taken to read my posts. Thanks to every single one of you who supports my writing habits - it really does mean a lot to me and I'm lucky to be rewarded for doing what I love!

NOVEMBER ROUNDUP...

Hey there!

It's coming to the end of yet another busy month - starting to think I'm becoming an extreme social butterfly! So many new beginnings have sprung upon me in the space of such a short time and too many people have come and gone, but soon my life will finally start to fall into place. However, my Christmas shopping is yet to begin - bustling crowds and stressy people are definitely not my thing!

Unfortunately, the weather has not been on my side this month - dull, wet and windy, typically British! Nevertheless, this didn't stop me from having fun - catching up with friends, travelling backwards and forwards to my new job and partying with my boyfriend!

(left to right: 2 Months With Lewis/ Snuggling in Cosy Jumper/ Remembrance Day/ New Job/ Fireworks Night/ Mad Party/ Onesie Evening/ Early Morning Sunshine/ Family Gathering)

Honestly, I couldn't think of a better way to spend this bitter, winter month. Not long now until Christmas - definitely excited for the days leading up the festive holiday!

Blogmas 2014

Hey there!

December is slowly approaching us - time to fetch the Christmas decorations from the loft, eat our weight in yummy food, wrap up warm in our favourite woolly jumpers and sing festive songs. You may think it's early for all of this, but when it comes to this time of year, my inner child comes alive! Christmas has always been my favourite part of the year - chilly winter nights, hot cocoa, fluffy blankets, festive lights - you name it, I love it!

I challenged myself this year to participate in Blogmas 2014 to theme my blog around this exciting holiday - prepare for everything Christmas! Something tells me I'm going to get extremely carried away with this and spam my little slice of the Internet with an overload of cute snaps...

LUSH Haul Review: Big Blue

Hey there!

As promised from my previous LUSH post, over the next couple of months, I will be sharing a number of reviews with you based on the treats I was given at the VIP blogging event. Most of you should be aware that I am a HUGE fan of everything in LUSH and have never been disappointed with my purchases, so apologies in advance if I get way too carried away, (which is definitely likely!)

1) Big Blue

I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to create this little beauty of a bath bomb for myself at the LUSH VIP blogging event and was even more excited to use in my bath, so it wasn't surprising that Big Blue was the first to be unwrapped from my goodie bag! I've always been a huge fan of freshly scented blue baths, as opposed to earthy orange/red baths, so instantly that was a bonus...

As as avid lover of LUSH bath products, I was surprised myself when I realised this was the first bath bomb I'd purchased to have a filling in the middle! Perfect for a relaxing evening after a productive day or simply to wake you up with a refreshing morning buzz - this bath bomb definitely lives up to it's name! It smells heavenly as it gently fizzes in the bath tub - dispersing tiny bits of seaweed made to soften the hot water in your bath tub! However, I found this released far more seaweed than I anticipated and it often felt uncomfortable when reacting to any sudden movement. Despite this fact, the kelp is 100% worth it - bursting with vitamins and minerals, which help to regulate your metabolism.

Having said that, I found the product most overwhelming and embraced the refreshing scent and gorgeous teal colour of the bath. As a result, my skin was ever so smooth after using this beauty and I felt completely smooth and seriously moisturised.

Reasonably priced at: £3.35
Rating: 8/10
